Gary G. Schneider
            Full military rites will be conducted at Ottoville Friday morning when funeral services are conducted for Corporal Gary G. Schneider, 19, Monsignor J. F. Frommherz will officiate at the Requiem High Mass to be conducted in the Immaculate Conception Catholic church at 9:30.
            Cpl. Schneider, a son of Mrs. Gregory J. Schneider, was fatally wounded December 31st, during the New Year Holiday Truce in Vietnam when he received multiple fragmentation wounds caused by a hostile explosive device while he was on patrol duty.
            His body arrived home on Wednesday and was taken to the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home in Ottoville where friends may call until time for services. The rosary will be recited at the home at eight o’clock this evening. Thursday.
            In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Donald and Dean. His father died on October 13, 1965.
            Members of the U. S. Marine Corps, of which he was a member, will conduct military rites.
            Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.

Barbara M. Otte
            Mrs. Barbara M. Otte, 85, well known Ottoville resident, died at 9:10 Wednesday morning in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, after a serious illness of one week.
            She was born at Landeck on June 5, 1881, a daughter of John and Mary Thitoff. She was married to Gerhart H. Otte at Ottoville on April 16, 1906. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1949.
            Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Marcille) Boerger, of Lima, Mrs. Frank (Euletta) Weber, of Detroit, Mrs. Fred (Elvira) Bodkins, of Ottoville, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Metzger, of Dayton, and Misses Mary Ann and Betty at home; two sons, Henry, at home, and Gerhart, of Delphos; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a brother John Thines, of Ottoville, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Miller, of Dayton.
            Mrs. Otte was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Alter Rosary Society of the parish.
            Services will be held in the church at 10:30 Saturday morning. Monsignor J. F. Frommherz will officiate. Interment will be made in the parish cemetery.
            The body is at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home in Ottoville where friends may call after seven o’clock Thursday evening. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 o’clock Friday evening.

Mary G. Warnecke
            Mrs. Mary G. Warnecke, 92, Ottoville, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday in Lima St. Rita’s Hospital where she had been a patient one week.
            Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz singing the Requiem High Mass. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
            Mrs. Warnecke was born in Ft. Jennings on September 22, 1874, a daughter of Ferdinand and Mary Eggeman. Her husband John died in 1939.
            Surviving are three sons, Hubert and Urban, both of Toledo, and Albert, Ottoville; a daughter, Mrs. Linus (Martha) Van Oss, Delphos; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ferdinand Eggeman, Ft. Jennings.
            She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, the Alter Rosary Society and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

Ralph W. Wieman
            Ralph W. Wieman, 45, Ottoville insurance agent, died at 8:40 Friday morning at his home. Dr. A. P. Daniel, Putnam County Coroner, ruled his death due to self inflicted shotgun wounds.
            He was born at New Bremen on August 31, 1921, the son of Clarence and Amelia Wieman. He was married at St. Mary’s to Betty Smith on November 14, 1941.
            Surviving with his wife are three sons, Ralph, Dana, and Neil, all at home; three daughters, Marilyn and Joanne, at home, and Mrs. Ralph (Sharon) Brickner, of Ottoville, and his father Clarence Wieman, of St. Mary’s.
            A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
            Services were held in the church at 9:30 Monday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

George W. Altenburger
            George W. Altenburger, 80, Ottoville resident, died at 11 o’clock Sunday forenoon in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, following an illness of three weeks.
            He was born near Ottoville on April 9, 1886, the son of Joseph and Nellie Altenburger. He was married to Mathilda Frieburger on November 20, 1912.
            Surviving are his widow; three sons, Ralph, of Lima, Raymond, of Detroit, and Walter, of Ottoville; four daughters, Mrs. Otto (Lucille) Neumeier, of Lima, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Keko, of Lincoln Park, Mich., Mrs. Bud (Ruby) Hooker, of Columbus Grove, and Mrs. Robert (Vera) Tenwalde, of Ottawa; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Andrew, of Ottoville, and John of Ottawa.
            Mr. Altenburger was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge at Ottawa.
            Services were held in the church at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Lawrence Wannemacker
            Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock Friday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic, for Lawrence Wannemacker, 68, resident of that village who died at six o’clock Wednesday evening in the Little Sisters of the Poor Home at Tiffin.
            Mr. Wannemacker was born at Ottoville on April 8, 1898, the son of John and Amelia Wannemacker. He was never married.
            He is survived by a brother, Lee, of Ottoville, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Cassell, of Toledo.           
            He was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles at Delphos.
            Msgr. Mark Vogel will officiate at the services. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
            Friends may call at the Peoples Funeral Home after seven o’clock this evening, Thursday.

John F. Altenburger
            John F. Altenburger, 72, Ottawa, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Lima St. Rita’s Hospital.
            He was born in Ottoville, the son of Joseph and Nellie Ann Altenburger. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ottawa.
            Surviving are a brother, Andy, of Ottoville, and several nieces and nephews.
            Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville and burial was in the church cemetery.

Anna C. Sanders
            Mrs. Anna C. Sanders, 74, Ottoville, died at the Hubbard Nursing Home in Grover Hill at 9 a.m. Friday.
            Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated and burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.
            Mrs. Sanders was born in Ottoville on November 16, 1892, the daughter of John and Philomena Pohl. She married Joseph Sanders on June 17, 1914, and he died on November 13, 1955.
            She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
            Survivors include four daughters, Sister M. Silvina C. PP. S., Ft. Recovery, Mrs. Arthur (Lucinda) Ellerbrock, Ft. Jennings, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Ann) Schimmoeller, Delphos, and Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Rampe, Kalida; four sons, Sylvester, St. Mary’s, Joseph, Ottoville, Gilbert, Delphos, and Gerald, Kemp; three sisters, Mrs. August (Caroline) Utrup, Delphos, Mrs. Edwin (Wilhelmina) Hilvers, Ottoville, and Mrs. Edward (Catherine) Hoersten, Ft. Jennings; four brothers, Henry, Delphos, Frank, Ottawa, John, Ft. Jennings, and Bernard Pohl, Ottoville; 26 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

William L. Turnwald
            Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville, for William L. Turnwald, 80, Ottoville. The Tr. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz sang the requiem high mass and burial was made in the church cemetery.
            Mr. Turnwald died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday of last week at the George Ricker farm near Ottoville where he was visiting. Death was due to a heart attack. 
            A native of Ottoville, Mr. Turnwald was born February 3, 1887, to Joseph and Mary Turnwald. He married Catherine Landwehr on November 19, 1914, and she died in 1939.
            Surviving are three sons, Sylvester, Leon and John, all of Ottoville; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Anna Marie) Eickholt, Ottoville, and Mrs. Karl (Betty) Schumacher, Columbus Grove; 22 grandchildren; and a brother Edward Turnwald, Cloverdale.
            Mr. Turnwald served as a trustee of Monterey Township for 28 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and its Holy Name Society

Felix G. Hoersten
            Felix G. Hoersten, 57, route 2, Ft. Jennings, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday in Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind., following an extended illness.
            Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz singing the Requiem High Mass. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
            Mr. Hoersten was born April 11, 1910, near Ottoville, the son of Joseph and Anne Hoersten. He was married to Mary Berelsman on May 4, 1938, and she survives.
            Also surviving are three sons, Eugene, Kalida, Harold, and Cletus, at home; two daughters, Patricia, and Marilyn, both at home; six sisters, Mrs. Albert (Tillie) Herman, Delphos, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Wegesin, and Mrs. Herbert (Clara Ann) Gerdeman, both of Delphos, Mrs. Hubert (Julia) Hemker, and Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Schneider, both of Ottoville, and Mrs. Herman (Victoria) Luersman, Ft. Jennings; five brothers, Lawrence, Ottawa, Vincent, Delphos, Anthony, Hugo and Clarence, all of Ottoville; two half brothers, Edward and Joseph Hoersten, both of Ottawa; and a half sister, Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Ellerbrock, Delphos.
            He was employed at Huffman Manufacturing Co., at Delphos. He was president of the Ottoville Credit Union and belonged to the Immaculate Conception Church and its Holy Name Society.

Benedict Wannemacher Jr.
            Benedict Wannemacher Jr., 41, of 24 East North Gate Parkway, Toledo, a former resident of Ottoville, died in Mercy Hospital, Toledo, Monday afternoon, two hours after he received a severe electric shock while at work in Monroe, Mich.
            An employee of the Cleveland Tramrail Toelox Co., Mr. Wannemacher was installing an overhead crane for a Monroe firm when he came into contact with a 440-volt electric line. He was removed by a fellow employee after the power was disconnected and after receiving first aid from the Monroe Fire Department was taken to Mercy Hospital.
            A son of the late Benedict and Laura Wannemacher, also former Ottoville residents, he is survived by his wife and two daughters, Barbara and Susan both at home.
            The body is at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home in Trilby, Ohio. Funeral services will be held in the Catholic Church at 9:30 Friday morning.

Richard D. Wannemacher
            Richard D. Wannemacher, 47, resident of near Ottoville, died unexpectedly at his home at eight o’clock Friday as the result of a heart attack.
            He was born on October 9, 1919, at Ottoville, the son of Walter and Adeline Wannemacher. He was married to Mildred C. Koester on October 2, 1954.
Mr. Wannemacher, who was engaged in farming, was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Ottoville. He was a veteran of World War II.
            Surviving with his wife, are his mother, who resides at Ottoville; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Mildred) Luersman, of Delphos; and two brothers, Ludwin, of Delphos, and Raymond, of Ottoville.
            Services were held in the Ottoville parish church at 9:30 Monday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Jan Marie Swint
            Jan Marie Swint, three-month-old daughter of Michael and Agnes Swint, Ottoville, died at 5:45 a.m. last Thursday at her home. Death was due to a congenital heart defect.
            She was born February 28, 1967, in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima.
            Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Kevin, and a sister, Barbara, both at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swint, Ottoville; Mrs. Barbara Brinkman, route 1, Cloverdale; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Urban Swint of Fremont, and Mrs. Adeline Looser, Ottoville.
            Services were held at eight o’clock Saturday morning in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

            Services were held at 9:30 Thursday morning in the Immaculate Conception Church, Ottoville, for Mrs. Anna Koty, 85, Ottoville, who died at 6:30 Tuesday morning, in St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
            The widow of Walter Koty, she was born in Germany on April 7, 1882, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Janke. A son Walter, of Mansfield, and three grandchildren survive.
            Monsignor J. F. Frommherz officiated at the services. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Frances Honigford
            Services were held this morning Thursday, at 9:30 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, for Mrs. Frances Honigford, 67, of route 1, Cloverdale, who died at 2:20 Monday afternoon in Van Wert County Hospital. She had been ill for six weeks.
            Mrs. Honigford was born at Ottoville on July 12, 1899, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bohn. She was married to Ben Honigford on June 6, 1923.
            Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Jeanette) Swary, of Payne; three sons, Jerome, of Delphos, and James and Donald, of route 1, Cloverdale; 16 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gebhard (Mayme) Gasser, route 1, Ft. Jennings, and a brother, Sylvester Bohn, of Toledo.
            Mrs. Honigford was a member of the Ottoville church and the Alter-Rosary Society of the parish. Monsignor J. F. Frommherz officiated at the services. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

William B. Heuerman
            William B. Heuerman, 61, who resided on Old Orchard Drive, Ottawa, died unexpectedly at his home as the result of a heart attack at 12:40 Friday morning.
            He was born at Ottoville, on December 9, 1905, the son of Anthony and Mary Heuerman. He resided in the Glandorf community before coming to Ottawa.
            He is survived by three sisters, Miss Catherine Heuerman, with whom he made his home, Mrs. Ann Rump, Miller City, and Mrs. Alfred (Bernadine) Brickner, Ottawa, and two brothers, Arnold, of route 4, Ottawa, and Lawrence, of near Continental. A sister is deceased.
            Mr. Heuerman was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, and the Eagles Lodge.
            Services were held in the Ottawa church at 9:30 Monday morning. The Rev. Gerald Pellitier officiated. Burial was made in St. John’s Cemetery at Glandorf.

Henry W. German
Henry W. German, 67, of 425 E. Third St., died at home at 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Born in Cloverdale, April 16, 1900, he was the son of Frank and Emma Knippen German. His wife, Edith Schlagbaum, whom he married June 30, 1936, survives.
An auto mechanic, he was member of St. John's Catholic and of the Delphos Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Anne) Ebbeskotte: two brothers, William of Fort Jennings and Gilbert of Bellefontaine.
Requiem High Mass will be offered at the church at 9 a.m. Monday with Rev. Joseph I. Schill as celebrant. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
      Friends may call ay Kolkmeyer Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight.

Emma Ricker
            Mrs. Emma Ricker, 81, route 1, Cloverdale, died at 11 a.m. last Thursday in Delphos Memorial Home after an illness of one year.
            Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville, of which she was a member. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz intoned the requiem high mass and burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Ottoville.
            Mrs. Ricker was born in Ottoville on January 16, 1886, to Mathias and Anna Brinkman. She married Louis W. Ricker in 1911, and he died in 1960.
            Surviving are two sons, John and Rudolph, and two daughters, Mrs. Cletus (Lucille) Horstman, and Mrs. Leo (Agnes) Horstman, all of Ottoville; a sister Mary Brinkman, Texas, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
            She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Alter Rosary Society.

Rudolph Gemiener
            Rudolph (Rudy) Gmeiner, 70, operator of a shoe store in Ottawa the past 35 years, died at 12:15 a.m. Monday in Lima St. Rita’s Hospital after a three-day illness.
            Born February 19, 1897, in Ottoville, he was the son of Leonard and Mary Margaret Gmeiner. He never married.
            Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Amelia Reynolds, of Lima; Mrs. Ida Ehlen, of Lafayette, Ind.; Sister Imelda, C.D.P., a teacher in Kalida, and Mrs. Anna Holtgreven of Ottawa; and one brother Ambrose of Philadelphia, Pa.
            He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Ottawa Knights of Columbus of which he was past Grand Knight; also fourth degree K. of C., Findlay; Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, and was a former member of the Ottawa City Council. He also owned and operated a she store in Defiance.
            Requiem High Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church. Rev. Florian Hartke celebrant. Burial will be made in the Church cemetery.
            Friends may call at McCrate Funeral Home, where the K. of C. will recite the rosary at 8:30 tonight. Also, the rosary will be said in the Church ay 7:30 tonight.

William Pahl
            William A. Pahl, 81, of Kingsley R. 1 died early this morning at Grand Traverse Medical Center in Traverse City after a long illness.
            Mr. Pahl was born May 27, 1886 at Ottoville, O., the son of Frank and Amelia Pahl, and in 1908 moved to Hannah near Kingsley, where he was employed in a store and also was a farmer. He was a member of Hannah St. Mary’s Church, was a former member of Gray school board, and also former justice of the peace in Mayfield township, Grand Traverse county.
            On April 15, 1913 at Hannah he was married to Rose Schichtel, who survives.
            Also surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Julius (Leona) Weber of Buckley, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Marden of Traverse City, Mrs. Erwin (Bernadine) Kremer of Saginaw, Mrs. E. W. (Margaret) Fleck of Detroit, Mrs. Robert (Rita) French of Interlochen, Mrs. Clarence (Thelma) Weber of Kingsley, Ralph of Buckley, Harold of Wayne, and Richard of Traverse City; 39 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother Leo of Kingsley; a sister, Mrs. Dora Bauman of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and many other relatives.
            Three children died in infancy.
            The funeral mass for Mr. Pahl will be sung at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hannah St. Mary’s Church, Rev. Fr. Francis Karl celebrant, with burial in the church cemetery.
            Rosaries will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Michael W. Gasser
Michael Wayne Gasser, 8, of 604 Sugar St., Paulding, died at 4 p.m. Sunday in Parkview Memorial Hospital Fort Wayne, Ind., following a 10-day illness.
            A Second grade pupil in Paulding Elementary School, he was born June 21, 1959, at Lima, a son of Richard John and Mary Lou (Smith) Gasser.
            Surviving besides his parents are three brothers, Richard Jr., Ronald Joe and Keith Allyn, and one sister, Dianna Lynn, all at home; grandparents, Mrs. Mary Smith, Spencerville, Oliver Smith, Lima, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gasser, Ottoville; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Elwer, Delphos, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gasser, Ottoville
            Services will be held with a High Mass at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.
            Friends may call at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home in Ottoville after 7 o'clock this evening. The parish rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Anthony A. Weiging
            Anthony A. Wieging, 71, died at his home in Ottoville at six o’clock Sunday morning. He had been ill eight months.
            Mr. Wieging was born at Ft. Jennings on September 8, 1896, a son of William and Christine Wieging. He was married to Pearl J. Martin at Ft. Jennings on November 2, 1920.
            He is survived by his wife; a foster child, Mrs. Joseph (Ethel) Perrin, of Ottoville; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Heidnacher, Delphos, Mrs. Laura Etgen, Ft. Jennings, and Mrs. Gale (Agatha) Bates, Van Wert; and three brothers, Lawrence and Joseph, of Delphos, Andrew, Ft. Jennings. A foster child Rose Mary Sanders died in 1958, and several brothers and sisters are deceased.
            He was a carpenter and school bus driver.
            Mr. Wieging was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the parish, the Ft. Jennings Catholic Knights of Ohio, and the Ottawa Eagles Lodge.
            Services were held in the Ottoville church at 9:30 Wednesday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Ottoville Soldier Killed In Vietnam
Helicopter Struck By Missile
            A 20-year-old Ottoville soldier, who had only seven days active duty remaining, was killed in action in Vietnam Sunday.
            Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Eickholt, of near Ottoville, received word Tuesday that their son, Sp. 4 Robert L. Eickholt, had been killed on active duty there. The youth was a machine gunner on a helicopter and it is believed the helicopter had been shot down by enemy gunfire.
            A graduate of Ottoville High School, he entered the Army on June 8, 1966, and arrived in Vietnam in December of last year. He was to have only seven more days of flying time and was expected to come back to this country late in November.
            Prior to entering the service he was employed with Weather-Seal Inc., in Ottawa.
            Robert was born January 21, 1947, to Jerome and Anna Marie Turnwald Eickholt. He was one of 12 children.
            Surviving are brothers and sisters, Thomas, Columbus Grove, and Jane, Gerald, Donald, Mary, Ann, Daniel, Raymond, Frank, William, and Kathleen, all at home. A brother died in infancy. Also surviving is the paternal grandfather, Leo Eickholt, of near Ottoville.
            He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville.
            Funeral services are pending the arrival of the body, which is expected some time next week. They will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Albert E. Utrup
            Funeral services were held at 9:30 Saturday morning in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, for Albert E. Utrup, 68, a farmer of that community, who died Wednesday of last week in St. Rita’s Hospital. He had been ill for three months.
            Mr. Utrup was born at Ottoville on June 9, 1899, a son of Henry A. and Ann Utrup.
            He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wannemacher, of Dayton, Mrs. Emma Kelbley, of Delphos, and Mrs. Leo Martin, of Ft. Jennings, and a brother, Henry, of Benton Harbor, Mich.
            Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated at the services. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Arnold Trenkamp
            Arnold Trenkamp resident of the Kalida community passed away at his home early this morning, Thursday. His death was due to a heart attack.
            An employee of the Putnam County Highway Department for the past 14 years, he was at work Wednesday, and was apparently in good health.
            He was born at Ottoville on September 20, 1915, the son of August and Anna Trenkamp. He was married to Rita Ricker in 1942.
            Surviving with his wife, are a son Bill, and two daughters, Joyce and Sally, all at home; five sisters, Mrs. Irene Dugan, of Lima, Mrs. Sally Fisher, of Huntingwoods, Mich., Mrs. Edna Dsoesch, Dayton, Mrs. Frances Landwehr, Kalida, and Sister Mary Alma, of Celina; and four brothers, James of Lima, August of Ft. Jennings, Walter, of Ottawa, Henry, of Ottoville. Three brothers are deceased.  
            Services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Melchior Lochtefeld will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
            The body will be at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home in Ottoville.
            A veteran of World War II, Mr. Trenkamp was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post.

Mary C. Wannemacher
            Mrs. Mary C. Wannemacher, 81, Ottoville resident, died at 8:30 Thursday evening in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, following an extended illness.
            Mrs. Wannemacher was born at Ottoville on December 12, 1885, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Schneider. She was married to Louis Wannemacher on November 5, 1905.
            Surviving with the husband are three sons, Edward of Ottoville, Cletus and Fred of Dayton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Victoria) Vincke, of Lima, and Mrs. John (Marha) Miller, of Troy, and two brothers, Oliver Schneider, of Delphos, and Rudy Schneider, of Saginaw, Mich.
            Mrs. Wannemacher was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Alter Rosary Society of the parish.
            Services were held in the church at 9:30 Monday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Rita Hoehn
            Rita Hoehn, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoehn, of near Ottoville, died in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, at eight o’clock last Thursday evening. Her death followed an extended illness.
            Rita was born on May 12, 1953, and in addition to her parents is survived by a sister, Alice, and two brothers, Jerome and Arthur, at home. The paternal grandfather, Andrew Hoehn, of Ottoville survives.
            Memorial services were held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home. A Requiem Mass was offered in the Immaculate Conception Church at 9:30 Monday morning. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Lester F. Vincke
            Lester F. Vincke, 56, of Lima, was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Rita’s Hospital at seven o’clock Friday morning. His death was due to a heart attack, which he suffered while attending mass at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church.
            Mr. Vincke was born at Ottoville on January 15, 1911, the son of Joseph and Catherine Vincke. He was a sales clerk at Quinn’s Paint Store in Lima.
            Surviving are his wife, Julia L.; five daughters, Ann, Mary, Kathy, Margaret and Martha, all at home; a brother, Cletus, Newport News, Va.; and a sister Rose Marie, of Lima.
            Mr. Vincke was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
            Services were held in St. Rose Church at 9:30 Monday morning. The Rev. Raymond Gorman officiated. Burial was made in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Charles A. Mallifiske
            Charles A. Mallifiske, 81, former Glandorf resident, who made his home with his son in Celina in recent years, died in Gibbons Hospital, Celina, at eight o’clock Thursday evening of last week. He had been a hospital patient for one day.
            He was born at Ottoville on February 10, 1885, the son of Don and May Mallifiske. He was married to Philomena Kleman who died in 1964.
            Mr. Mallifiske had been employed for a number of years as a salesman at the Frey Hardware in Ottawa, and later at the Perry Hardware in Leipsic, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Celina and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
            Surviving are three sons, Edwin, of Celina, Charles of Eastlake, Father Vincent Mallifiske, of Killdeer, N. D.; two daughters Sister Francisca, of Dayton, and Sister Louis, of Sedalia, Mo.; and five grandchildren; three sons and three daughters are deceased.
            Services were held at 9:30 Monday morning in St. John’s Church, Glandorf. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
