Alfred Sellet, 76, Winter Haven. FL. and formerly of Ottoville, died on
January 2,
1991, at Lakeland General Hospital, Lakeland, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma (Brenner) Sellet,
formerly of Ottoville, four sons, Richard, Robert and Daniel all of Florida,
and two sisters. Florentine Warnecke. Ottovllle, and Mary Lou Vetter Ft.
Jennings.
Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial In Lakeside Memoria1 Park, both in Winter Haven.
Mr. Sellet formerly was owner of Sellet's Firestone Store
in Ottoville. He moved to Florida
In 1960.

She was born in Ottoville, Ohio,
and came here in 1965 from Delphos, Ohio. Locally, she worked as a waitress.
She was a Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina
Vance, St. Petersburg; two brothers, John Pohl, St. Mary’s, Ohio, and Elmer
Pohl, St. Louis; two sisters, Clara Vondran and Margaret Powell, both of
Delphos; and two grandchildren. Robert D. Easter Funeral Home, Gulfport.

Frank X.
Weber, 91, Cloverdale, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 1991, at Sarah
Jane Chambers Geriatric Center, Delphos.
He was born
September 8, 1899, in Ottoville, the son of John and Rosalia (Gasser) Weber. On
June 12, 1929, he married Mary Honigford, who survives.
Mr. Weber
was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, its Holy Name
Society and the Catholic Knights of Ohio. He retired as an auto mechanic from
Delpha-Chevrolet-Buick in 1961.
Survivors
include seven sons, Eugene J. Weber, Coldwater, Donald L. Weber, Estes Park,
CO, Arthur Weber, Ft. Wayne, IN., Leonard Weber, Detroit, MI., Kenneth J.
Weber, Greenville, RI., Lawrence A. Weber, Barnum, MN., and Rev. Herbert F.
Weber, Bowling green; six daughters, Mrs. Mike (Mildred) Rahrig, Avon Park FL.,
Sister Helen Weber C.PP.S., Toledo, Mrs. Frank (Lucille) Fuchs, Brandon, FL.,
Mrs. Roger (Celeste) Geise, Delphos, Mrs. James (Dolores) Spieles, Wauseon and
Mrs. Vernon (Judith) Fischer, Delphos; 39 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Miller, Delphos.
Three
brothers, Anthony Weber, Ferd Weber and Louis Weber; three sisters, Rosie
Hoehn, Helen Perrin and Theresa Honigford; and two grandchildren are deceased.
Mass of
Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church. Rev. Herbert Weber and Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial was in
the St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.

Urban J. Gerker, 71, Ottoville, died at 950 a.m. Saturday January 26,
1991, at his residence.
He was born September 11,
1919, in Putnam County the
son of George and Amelia (Kreinbrink) Gerker, on September 3, 1947, he married Clara L. Verhoff,
who survives.
Mr. Gerker was a farmer. He was a
member of Ottoville Veterans of Foreign Wars
Post 3740. Fort Jennings American Legion Post 71 5, Immaculate
Conception
Catholic Church in Ottoville and the church's Holy Name Society. He was an Army veteran of
World War II.
Survivors also include five sons; Gerald Gerker, Columbus.

both of Cloverdale, James Gerker, Los Angeles and Mark Gerker, Westlake: three
daughters, Mrs. Harry (Annita) Flanagan, Delphos, Mrs. Art (MaryAnn) Schmit,

Catherine Hohlbein, 88, formerly of Ottoville, died at 7:10
p.m. Sunday February 3, 1991, at the Sarah Jane Chambers Geriatric Center,
Delphos.
Mrs. Hohlbein was born June 3, 1902, in Ottoville to Anton and Rosa
(Bendele) Bensman. On June 3, 1924, she married Frank X Hohlbein who died March 2, 1983.
Surviving are four sons, Robert, Delphos, Richard, Lima, Gerald and Donald both
of Ottoville, five daughters,
Mrs. Virgil (Alice) Meyer. Ottawa, Mrs. Melvin (Rita Mae) Pohlman, Mrs. Carl (Dolores) Hemker, Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Gerdeman, all of Delphos and Mrs. Paul (Valeta) Lammers Kalida: 35 grandchildren: 40
great-grandchildren: one sister, Veronica Stoody, Ft. Wayne. IN.
One son Carl Dean Hohlbein, one
daughter Carol Jean Hohlbein and one
sister Barbara Hutt and one grandchild are deceased.
Mrs. Hohlbein was a member of the Altar Rosary
Society. Ottoville VFW Auxiliary and Post 3740. She was a homemaker and a member
of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville.
The funeral was Wednesday at
11:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She wan born April 2, 1913,
in Lima to Harry and Loretta (Diamond)
Pflum. On January 15, 1944, in
Lima, she married Lester F. Vincke, who died February 24, 1967.

homemaker.

Ruth M. Brinkman, 84, Ottawa, died at 6:05 a.m. Thursday February 28, 1891, at the Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa, where she was a
resident.
She was born October 13, 1906, in Ottoville to Gottfried and
Amelia (Boehmer) Wannemacher. She married Alfred
L. Brinkman on January 23, 1937, and
he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Dennis (Marilyn) Erman, Ottawa: Diane
Brinkman, Tampa. Fl.; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death was a son, Kenneth; two brothers, Alvin
“Smoke” Wannemacher and Robert Wannemacher:
one sister, Leona Fenbert: and two
step-sisters, Ellen Rekart and Sylvia Byrne.
Mrs. Brinkman was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar-Rosary

in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Columbus Grove.

Monday March 16, 1991, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Mrs. Looser was born December 27, 1923, in Delphos the daughter of
Louis and Caroline (Berelsman)
Brenner. On July 18, 1945, she married George B. Looser, who
survives.
A homemaker Mrs. Looser was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church and its Alter Rosary Society.

He was born March 16, 1910, in Ottoville to Henry and Elizabeth (Wrocklage) Krebs. He married
Breta Page in November 1935, who
died in July, 1990.
Survivors include one brother. Carl Krebs, Inverners, FL.; two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Gertrude) Neal and Catherine
Tippie, Delphos: one step-granddaughter: one step-grandson and nephews.

in Garland Funeral Home Amherst. Burial was in Amherst Cemetery.

Albert A. Hoehn, 70, of 2825
Cambridge Blvd., Fort Wayne, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the residence of his
daughter in Fort Wayne. He had been ill
for several months.
Born Jan.
23, 1921 in Ottoville, Ohio to Frank and Rosa Didion Hoehn, he had lived in
Fort Wayne most of his life. He married
Eloise Ramsey, who survives. He had
been a supervisor for 36 years at the Butler Paper Company, Fort Wayne,
retiring in 1986. He was a U.S. Army
veteran of World War II.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Marshall (Lisa) HIRSCH,
Fort Wayne; a sister, Lucille GLASS, and a brother, Paul [HOEHN], both of
Venice, Fla., and nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Alice BURNING and Martha MILLER, preceded in death.
Services
will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Akron, with the
Rev. Timothy ROHRBACHER officiating.
Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m.

she married Richard W. Bernard, who died January 7, 1987.

Roland A. Fischbach, 68, Watertown,
SD. died at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 1991, in Prairie Health Care Center, Watertown, of an extended illness.
He was born June 8, 1922, in
Ottoville to Henry and Mary (Comes) Fischbach. He married Loretta DeVille
on October 29, 1946, in Watertown, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons,
Robert Fischbach and Darwin Fischbach,
Watertown; three brothers Donald Fischbach,
Delphos, Thomas Fischbach, Lima and Raphael Fischbach, Ft. Jennings: one sister Mrs. Ronnie (Eileen)

He was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother, Ray Fischbach.

(Eickholt) Miller. In 1939, she married John E. Schwab, who died in 1965.
Surviving
are two sons, Thomas, Custar, and Jack, Monroe, Mi.; a daughter, Margaret
Okuley, Maumee; a sister Emma Dibling, Carey, and seven children.
Also,
preceding her in death were four brothers and two sisters.
Services
were held Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph
Schmelzer officiated. Burial was in St. Louis Cemetery, Custar.

Randall Jay Maher, 40, Columbus, died 10:45 p.m. Monday, April 29, 1991, in Convoy.
He was born August 10, 1943 in Van Wert the son of Richard
J. and Phyllis (Poling) Maher. His mother Phyllis Poling remarried and survives
in Convoy.
He is also survived by two brothers, Robert, Ottawa, John, Salsbury, North Carolina: two sisters, Marcia Osenga, Convoy, and
Mary Ann Bogart, Worthington.
He was a graduate of Ottoville High
School and formerly was assistant director of respiratory services at Ohio State
Hospital, Columbus.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10 am. Thursday at St Mary’s
Catholic Church, Van Wert. Rev. James
A. Siefker will officiate. Burial
will be in Woodland Cemetery. Van Wert.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

He was born March 19, 1915, in Cloverdale to Louis B. and Anna (Kemper) Ricker. On July 16, 1945. He married Elizabeth E. Epping who survives.
Mr. Ricker was a retired employee
of M & W Trailer and formerly
employed at Gramm Trailer. He was
a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church Ottoville and its Holy Name Society.
Survivors include four sons, Louis,
and David, Ottoville, Victor, Toledo and John, Cloverdale: 10 grandchildren: two brothers, Harold,
Roscommon, MI. and Richard, Clyde: and two sisters, Mrs. Leona Backus and Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Grothouse, both of Delphos

She wan born April 25, 1911, in Ottoville to Anthony and Veronica (Metzger) Hilvers. She married Paul E. Zolman on April 28, 1944, and he died July 1954. On October 31, 1964 she married August J. Kreinbrink and he died February 9, 1991.
Mrs. Kreinbrink wan a homemaker. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville and its Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph E. Zolman, Liberty Center and Richard
Zolman. Fayette, AL.: one
stepson, Norman K. Kreinbrink, Findlay: one
stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Hohenbrink,
Ottawa: 11 grandchildren: six step grandchildren: 14 step-great-grandchildren:

She was born January 28, 1912, in Ottoville to George and Elizabeth Wenzlick. She married Ralph D. Hoffman February 21,
1933, who died November 1, 1989.
Mrs. Hoffman was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Marion
Mrs. Hoffman and her husband lived on
a farm near Ottawa for 20 years.
Survivors include six sons, George
Hoffman, LaRue, Paul Hoffman, New Bloomington,
Bill Hoffman, Edison, Joe Hoffman, Tom Hoffman and Frank Hoffman,
Marion: five daughters, Mrs. James (Mary) Ream, Bloomville, Mrs. Dale (Ann) Van Buskirk, Morral,
Elizabeth Hoffman, Mrs. Dale (Teresa) Stapleton and Mrs. Dan (Agnes) Murphy, Marlow one sister, Regina
Jerwers, Ft. Jennings; two brothers, Herman Wenzlick, Cloverdale, Lawrence
Wenzlick, Whitehouse: 22 grandchildren.

Saturday, May 26, 1991, at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Marion.

Cyril M. (Skeeter) Weber, 78, Ottoville, died at 6:07 p.m. Friday, June 7, 1991, at St. Rita's Medical Center emergency
room.
Mr. Weber was born February 16, 1913, in Ottawa the son of Frank M. and Philomena M. (Rampe)
Weber. On July 17, 1945, he
married Alberta C. Koester, who survives.
Mr. Weber was a retired salesman
for J.J. Miller Co. and
Birkemeier Monument Co. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church in Ottoville, its Holy Name Society and Ottoville Veterans of
Foreign Wars.
Survivors also include three sons,
William Weber, Westerville, Daniel Weber, Lima, and Robert Weber, Worthington:
one daughter, Judith Terry, Ottoville: and eight grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a sister. Bernice Fisher.
Services were held Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell
officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery,
Ottoville.
Funeral arrangements were handled
by Helmkamp-Siferd Funeral Home, Ottoville.

Melissa Marie Plescher was
stillborn at 10:58 a.m. Friday, June
7, 1991, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was the daughter of Michael A. and Jane M. (Backs) Plescher, Ft Jennings
who survive.
Survivors include a sister, Loni Plescher, at home, two brothers, Christopher
Plescher and Thomas Plescher, both at home: paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jane Plescher, Ottoville: and
maternal grandparents, Norman and
Theresa Becker, Cloverdale.
Private graveside services were
held Monday, June 10, 1991. Burial was in St Mary’s cemetery, Ottoville.

Aloysius J. (A. J.) Mueller, 88, Ottoville, died at 7:51 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 1991, at Paradise Oaks Nursing Home,
Cloverdale.
He was born June 9, 1903, in
Landeck the son of Peter and Mary (Wenning)
Mueller. On May 23, 1934, he
married Evelyn Hesseling, who survives.
Mr. Mueller was a retired
farmer from the Landeck area. He was a
member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society, and the Landeck Catholic Knights of Ohio.
Other survivors include two sons, Rev. Donald Mueller, Fremont and Joseph Mueller, Delphos;
three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Angela) Hohlbein, Ottoville, Mrs. William (Janice)
Deitering, Leipsic and a sister Diane (Anne Marie) Mueller, Ann Arbor, MI: 14 grandchildren: 10 great-grandchildren: and two
sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Rosella) Gerdeman, and Mrs. Walter (Esther) Gerdeman, both of Delphos.
One daughter, Rose Ann Mueller is
deceased. Also deceased are brothers,
the Rev. Ralph Mueller, Oliver
Mueller and Gilbert Mueller: sisters, Alberta Hoehn, Agatha Mueller and
Philomena Brinkman: and a half-sister, Bernadine Mueller.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. With
his son, Rev. Donald Mueller, his
nephew, Rev. Paul Mueller and Rev. Sylvan Obergefell
officiated. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Siferd
Funeral Home, Ottoville, where a parish wake service will
be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mathilda (Tillie) Herman, 82, Delphos, died at 2:03 p.m.
Thursday, June 20, 1991, at St.
Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born April 28, 1908, in Ottoville the daughter of
Joseph and Anna (Beining) Hoersten. In 1930, she married Albert (Peck) Herman,
who died in 1984.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Herman, Spencerville,
Leonard Herman, Columbus, and James Herman, Kettering: one daughter. Mrs. Alfred (Mary Ann) German, Delphos:
19 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren: four brothers, Clarence Hoersten and Anthony Hoersten,
both of Ottoville. Lawrence Hoersten, Ottawa and Vincent Hoersten, Delphos: and
four sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Schneider, Ottoville, Mrs. Hubert (Julie)
Hemker and Mrs. Herman (Victoria) Luersman,
both of Fort Jennings, and
Mrs. Herbert (Claranne) Gerdeman, Delphos.
Mass of Christian burial was Monday at St. John's Catholic
Church, Delphos. Burial was in St John's Cemetery.

Thomas F. Kahle, 65, Lima,
died at 11:47 p.m. Wednesday,
September 11, 1991, at his
residence.
He was born April 19, 1926, in Ottoville the son of Louis and
Mary (Meyer) Kahle. On June 14, 1952 he
married Mare M. Diemer, who
survives.
Mr. Kahle was a self-employed
farmer. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and VFW Post 1275.
Other survivors include eight
daughters. Eileen Kahle, Bluffton, Mrs. James
T. (Margaret) Thornock, Rimer, Mrs. Dan (Marilyn) Reimund, Columbus Grove,
Vickie Lammers, Spencerville, Mrs. Thomas (Linda) Baughman and Mary Jo Kahle,
both of Lima, and Jean Kahle and Christina Kahle, both of Toledo: 11 grandchildren: and one sister, Mrs. James (Lucille) Illig, Landeck.

Leroy W. Martin
Leroy W. (Pep) Martin, 67, Ottoville, died at 6:40 am, Tuesday October 8, 1991,
at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born December 1, 1923, in Putnam County, the son of
Arnold and Ida (Wieging) Martin. On August 20, 1956, he married Virginia Walsh, who survives.
Mr. Martin retired in 1986 from Randall Spencer Plumbing and
Heating and had formerly worked for Boyd
Spencer Plumbing and Heating as a plumber.
He was a member of Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, its Holy
Name Society and Ft. Jennings American Legion Post 715.
He was a retired 25-year member of the Ottoville Fire Department and was a life
member and past senior vice commander of the Ottoville VFW Post 3740. He
was past president of the Ottoville Board
of Public Affairs.
Other survivors include two sons,
Blaine Martin and Dale Martin, both of Ottoville: three grandchildren; two
brothers, James Martin, Ottoville, and Robert Martin. Landeck: and three
sisters. Mrs. Jerome (Velma) Altenburger, Mrs. Bernice Rieger and Mr.. Ronald (Joan "Tooter") Wessell,
all of Ottoville.
Arrangements were handled by Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Sifred Funeral
Home, Ottoville.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, October 11, 1991, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville, where military graveside services
were jointly conducted by the Ottoville VFW
and the Ft. Jennings
American Legion.

Florence H. Siebeneck, 81, Ottoville, died at 12:43 a.m. Thursday November 7. 1991, at Paradise Oaks Nursing
Center, Cloverdale.
She was born March 31, 1910, in McComb to Fred and
Theresa (Morman) Hohenbrink. She married
Raymond J. Siebeneck on
May 30, 1933.
Surviving are two sons, Norman
and Robert, both of Ottoville: five daughters,
Mrs. Charles L. (Velma)
Warnimont, Miller City Mrs. Robert (Theresa) Gerding, Kalida, Mrs. Ronald (Jane) Pothast, Delphos, Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Meyer, Ottoville,
and Janet Variell, Charleston, NC: 29 grandchildren:
and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald.
Mrs. Siebeneck was a homemaker. She was a member of the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Ottoville Senior Citizens.
Funeral services were held Saturday
at the church. The Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial
was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.

Edwin B. Dickman
Edwin B. Dickman, 66, Alma, died Wednesday, November 13, 1991, at his home.
Mr. Dickman was born September 10, 1925, in Ottoville, the son of
Joseph and Gertrude (Unverferth) Dickman. He married Erceil Conroy on April 14,
1956 in Sacred Heart Church, Mt. Pleasant.
He moved from Ohio to Alma when he was 12 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Erceil:
four sons. Joseph. Rodney, David and Daniel, all of Alma: two daughters. Mary
Dickman, Alma, and Gayla Dickman, St. Louis, MO: a
brother, Urban, Alma: two
sisters, Lucinda Horstman, Cloverdale and Luella Maenle, Ft. Jennings: and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: a granddaughter, Julie
Dickman; and two sisters, Donelda
Horstman and LaDonna Bendele.
Services were held Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church Alma. Father Dave Parsch officiated. Burial
was in Wright Cemetery in Alma.
Funeral arrangements were handled
by Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home.

Amanda K. Eickholt, 84, Ottoville, died at 8:46 a.m. Sunday, December 8, 1991, at St. Rita's Medical Center,
Lima.
She was born January 20, 1907, in Glandorf to Bernard and
Mary (Dickrede) Jerwers. She married Frank C. Eickholt on July 20, 1927, and he died February 16,1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Julius (Alice) Buenger, Cloverdale: a
grandson; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alphonse Jerwers, Kalida,
Elmer Jerwers, Glandorf, and Harry Jerwers, Ottawa: and a sister, Mrs. Marshall
(Marie) Erickson, Kalida.
She was receded in death by seven
brothers, Roman, Raymond, Wilfred, Leonard, Edwin Jerwers and two who died in
infancy.
Mrs. Eickholt was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Ottoville and its Rosary-Alter
Society.
A funeral Mass was held at 10:30
a.m. Wednesday (today) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.
Funeral arrangements were handled
by Kolkmeyer-Helmkarnp-Siferd Funeral Home, Ottoville.

Amanda Edna "Mame"
Schneider, 78, Ottoville, died at 1:15

14, 1991 at Sara Jane Chambers Geriatric
Center, Delphos.
Mrs. Schneider was born April
27, 1913, in Deshler, the daughter of Alfred and Myrtle
(Macelwane) Baer. On August 15, 1935, she married Gregory J. Schneider, who died October 13, 1965.
A homemaker, she was a
member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Ottoville, and the VFW Gold Star Mothers Club.
Survivors include one son, Donald Schneider, Lima: seven grandchildren: and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Schneider, who was
killed in Vietnam and Dean Schneider.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 17, 1991, at the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial was
in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.

16, 1991 at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 6, 1905, in
Ottoville, the daughter of Theodore D. and Elizabeth (Kiefer) Van Oss. On October 30, 1922, she
married Joseph D. Byrne, who died October 3, 1990.
Mrs. Byrne was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic
Church.
Survivors include two sons, Walter D. Byrne, Delphos, and Thomas T. Byrne, Ft. Myers, four grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren: one step-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Seta Gasser, and Mrs. Velma Rigdon, both of Delphos.
Funeral services were Thursday
December 19, 1991, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic
Church. Burial was In St John's Catholic
Cemetery.

A. H. Rayman, 76, Lima, died at 5 a.m. Friday, December
27, 1991, at his residence.
He was born October 2, 1915, in Ottoville, the son of Bernard
and Bernadine (Brinkman) Rayman. On August 16, 1943,
he married Lucina Luebrecht who survives.
Other survivors include four sons Kenneth J. Rayman, Troy, Michael
J. Rayman, Columbus, Steven J. Rayman, Houston, TX. and
Joseph T. Rayman, Lima; two daughters, Magaret Stinner, Columbus and Ann McDonald, Colorado Springs, CO: eight grandchildren; one brother, Edward Rayman, Ottoville: seven
sisters, Margaret Blymer, Ottoville,
Alma Gerker, and Agnes Luebrecht, both of Ft. Jennings, Agatha Metz, Lima,
Mildred Brinkman, Delphos, Doris Ann
Rellinger, Michigan and Regina Burns, Florida.
Funeral services were Monday, December 30, 1991, at St. Gerard Catholic
Church. Rev. Denis Sweeney officiated.
Entombment was in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Lester D. Wannemacher
Lester D. Wannemacher, 66, Ottoville died 12:0l p.m.
Monday, December 30, 1991, at Parkview Hospital in Ft.
Wayne, IN.
He was born June 2, 1925, in Ottoville to Arthur
and Cecilia
(Miehls) Wannemacher. He married Barbara Wegesin on February 7,
1948 in Delphos and she survives.
Also surviving are five
sons, Donald, Defiance, Lenny, Terry, Tom and Todd, all of Ottoville,
11 grandchildren and one brother, Ambrose, Delphos.
Two brothers are deceased, Harold and Leonard.
He was a WWII veteran serving in the Pacific with the United
States Navy Seabeas. He was a
life member of Ottoville VFW Post
3740 where he was Post commander. He was a
member of the Ft. Jennings American Legion Post 715, past town
clerk of Ottoville, a 27 year member of Ottoville volunteer fire
department, an original member of the Ottoville
EMS and a member of the police and fire retirees of Ohio. He retired in 1990 after 13 years as Ottoville police chief. He had formerly sold International Harvester Machinery for George
Wannemacher for 30 years. He was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and Its Holy Name Society.
Visitation will be Tuesday 7
p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Siferd Funeral
Home, Ottoville, where the Ottoville and District VFW will hold services at
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Ft.
Jennings American Legion will hold services,
at 8 p.m. and the parish wake service at 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday.
Mass of Christian Buria1 will be
held 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
January 2, 1992, at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church with Fr.
Sylvan Obergefell officiating. Burial
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery,
