Jeanette Mildred Osterlin

Jeanette Mildred Osterlin, 80, of Beulah, died Thursday at Paul Oliver Long
Term Care in Frankfort.
Born
Dec. 7, 1919, in Ottoville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leo and Odilia
(Frederick) Herman.
Jeanette
was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Frankfort and the altar society
at the church. She had worked for ten years for Harold Bruning Surveying, in
Beulah, as a secretary. Most of all, she was a loving and giving wife, mother,
sister and grandmother. Her family and friends gave her the most joy in life.
Jeannette
is survived by her children, Sandra (Bob) Mally of Cape Coral, Fla., Mike
(Joanne) Osterlin of Marion, Ohio, Debi Hart of Benzonia and Larry (Dianne)
Osterlin of Traverse City; seven grandchildren, David, Linda, Alyssa, Aaron,
Alida, Sarah and Rebecca; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Michael; her
brother, Rudolph Herman of Los Angeles, Calif.; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
On
March 10, 1939, in Adrian, Jeanette married Leo Osterlin, who preceded her in
death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leone Brock and
Mary Lou Foerester; and a brother, Fred Herman.
Family
services will be held at a later date. The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah
is in charge of arrangements.

Betty J.
Kehres, 33, of Ottoville died at 150 a.m. Jan. 23 at Putnam County Ambulatory
Care Center.
She was born May 14, 1966, in Lima to Jack S. and Rosemary
"Babe" (Horstman) Wannemacher.
Her mother survives. Other survivors include, a daughter, Taylor Kehres
at home; three bothers, Stephen "Pete" Wannemacher of Fort Jennings,
Jerry "Oscar" Wannemacher of Ottoville and David Wannemacher of
Willshire; two sisters, Patricia (Bill) Horstman of Cloverdale and Carol
Gudakunst of Fort Jennings.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Donald Wannemacher;
and nephew and godson Brandon Horstman.
Ms. Kehres was employed at Schnipke Engraving, Ottoville. She was a
member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a member of Veterans
of Foreign Wars Post 3740 Auxiliary, Ottoville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Rev. Sylvan Obergefell
officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Ottoville.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today and 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at
Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp- Orians Funeral Home, Ottoville, where parish wake service
will be 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Williams
Demi Louise Williams was stillborn at 3:58 p.m. on Wednesday,
February 9, 2000; at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Timothy C. and Lecia M. (Herman) Williams, and they survive in Delphos.
Other survivors include a sister, Erin Lee Williams; maternal
grandparents, Leo and Helen Herman, Ottoville; paternal grandparents, Sharon
Williams, Spencerville and Frank and Billie Williams, Queen Creek, AZ; and maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Fisher, Findlay.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents. Theodore Fisher,
and Edwin and Theresa Herman; and paternal grandparents, Helen and John
Williams, and Charles and Arnavelle Poff.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at St. Mary Cemetery, Ottoville.
Rev. Dan Borgelt officiated. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery.

Horstman
Ralph Louis Horstman, 75 Ottoville, died at 4:04
p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2000, at Paradise Oaks Nursing Center,
Cloverdale.
He was born June 26, 1924, in Ottoville, to Ben and Anna (Grote)
Horstman. On May 28, 1960, he married Patricia A. Dickman, in
Ottoville, and she died November 24. 1996.
Survivors include a son, Terry
(Lisa) Horstman, Ottoville; three daughters, Vicki (Bob) Reindel, Delphos,
Joyce (Ted Schimmoeller, Ft. Jennings, and Jennifer Horstman, Bowling Green;
six grandchildren; a brother, Leo Horstman, Cloverdale; and two sisters, Mary
Ann Bullinger, Defiance, and Rosemary "Babe" Wannemacher, Ottoville.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Cletus, Richard, and Cyril
Horstman.
Mr. Horstman was retired from Neon Products, Lima, and from Fruehauf
Trailers, Delphos. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Holy Name Society; V.F.W. Post
3740, Ottoville; F.O.E. Aerie #471, Delphos; and American Legion Post 715, Ft.
Jennings.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Ottoville. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial was in
St. Mary Cemetery, Ottoville. Military rites were given by VFW Post 7 15 and American Legion Post 3740.
Arrangements were handled by Kolkrneyer-Helmkamp Orians Funeral Home,
Ottoville.

Eickholt
Agnes J. Eickholt, 75, Cloverdale, died at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday,
February 26, 2000, at her residence.
She was born March 30, 1924, in
Cloverdale, to Sylvester and Mary M. (Hitzelberger) Schwaiger. On July 10,
1943, she married Roman Eickholt, in Miller
City, and he survives in Cloverdale.
Other survivors include five sons,
Roman (Pat) Eickholt Jr., Continental, John S. (Cathy) Eickholt, Robert (Donna)
Eickholt, and Terry L. (Stacy) Eickholt, all of Cloverdale, and Alan (Marty)
Eickholt, Ayersville; four daughters, Mary Agnes (Kenneth) Doseck, Payne,
Bonnie (Bill) Beining, Leah (Dan)
Ditto, and Lisa (Albert) Bilimek, all of Cloverdale: 24 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Breakey, Tucker, GA, and Carol
(Dallas) Etue, Toledo.
She as preceded in death by a
daughter, Joyce Ann Eickholt; a
sister, Rita Schwaiger; a brother, Sylvester Schwaiger; and a half-brother,
Albert Schwaiger. Mrs. Eickholt was a homemaker.
She volunteered at Paradise Oaks
Nursing Home for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Ottoville, its Altar Rosary Society, its choir, VEW Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Ohio Polka
Boosters. She also loved gardening and bingo.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held
Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Father Sylvan
Obergefell officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Ottoville.

Bendele
Leonard W. Bendele, 92, Ottawa,
died at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2000, at Putnam Acres Care Center,
Ottawa.
He was born December 30, 1907, in
Ottoville, to Sebastian and Elizabeth (Altenberger) Bendele. On November 18, 1939, he married Grace Michel, and
she survives.
Other survivors include four sons,
James (Shirley) Bendele, Ottawa, Marvin (Helen) Bendele, Glandorf, Paul
(Connie) Bendele, Paxton, IL, and Eugene Bendele,
Ludlow, IL; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren: four
great-grandchildren; two stepgreat- grandchildren; a brother, ' Herbert (Juanita) Bendele, Van Wert;
and a sister, Lucille Lytle, Van Wert.
He was preceded in death by five
brothers, Cleo, Harold, Walter, Urban, and Lawrence Bendele; and a sister,
Marcelle Bendele.
Mr. Bendele was a retired farmer.
During WWII, he worked as a certified welder for Cadillac, of Detroit, MI. He
was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, its Holy Name
Society, and Ottawa Eagles.
A funeral Mass was held today
(Wednesday) at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. Father Tom Hemm
officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Gilbert Kehres
Gilbert D. Kehres, 63, died at noon March 7, 2000, at Medical College of Ohio,
Toledo. He was born March 2, 1938 in Ottoville to Victor and Veronica Maenle Kehres. On May 9, 1959, he married Eileen Hoehn, who survives.
Mr. Kehres worked in mechanical maintenance at Phillips Display Components, Ottawa, for 43 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Holy Name Society. He was a member of Phillip's Quarter Century
Club.
Survivors also include three sons, Roy (Gail) Kehres of Cloverdale, Chris (Cora) Kehres of Fort Jennings and Brian Kehres at home; two daughters, Jill (Rob) Knippen of Fort Jennings and Holly Kehres at home; two brothers, Leonard "Butch" Kehres of Cloverdale and Michael Kehres of Lima; two sisters, Joann Eickholt and Marge Miller, both of Fort Jennings; and six grandchildren.

Schnipke
Virgil J. Schnipke, 54, died March 13, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 29, 1945, in Lima to Henry and Lillian Miller
Schnipke. On May 18,1968, he married Pam
Miller, who survives.
Mr. Schnipke was a truck driver for General Motors and was a former
Ottoville school board member. He was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Schnipke Ottoville. He was a member of Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post 3740, Ottoville, the Delphos Country Club and the Putnam
County Railmen Train Club. He
was a former
coach for the
Ottoville Little League, Ottoville seventh-grade and eighth-grade basketball,
varsity and junior varsity girls basketball, Acme baseball and varsity
baseball. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors also include two
sons, Michael (Laura) Schnipke
and Mark (Jen Menke) Schnipke, both of Ottoville; two daughters, Jan (Scott)
Vetter of Fort Jennings and Jaylene (Chad) Ellerbrock of Glandorf; six
brothers, Urban Schnipke and Ralph Schnipke, both of Cloverdale, Othmar
Schnipke and Oscar Schnipke, both of Glandorf, Bob Schnipke of Lambertville,
Mich., and Karl Schnipke of Toledo; three sisters, Marge Schroeder of Kalida,

Anthony “Tony” Hoersten, 83, died at 9:44 a.m. March 23, 2000, at
his residence.
He was born Sept. 19,1916, in Ottoville to Joseph and Anna Beining
Hoersten. On June 2,1943, he married Bernadine E. Berelsman, who survives.
Mr. Hoersten was a farmer. He retired in 1984 as the custodian for Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church and had worked at Miller Brothers Clay Works, bath in Ottoville. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
and its Holy Name Society and served on the St. Mary Cemetery Board, Ottoville.
Survivors also include six sons, Robert (Mary) Hoersten, Dan (Barb) Hoersten, Steve (Carol) Hoersten, Jeff Hoersten
and Paul (Jody) Hoersten, all Ottoville, and Mark (Cindy) Hoersten of Woodburn, Ind.; five daughters, Nancy
(Eugene) Schmersal, Ruth (Ron) Schulte, Jane (Mike) Merschman and Norma (Chip)
Rampe, all in Kalida, and Judy Hoersten of Van Wert; a brother, Clarence
Hoersten of Ottoville; three sisters, Barbara Schneider and Julie Hernker, both
of Ottoville, and Clarann Gerdeman of Delphos; 23 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by faur brothers, Felix, Lawrence, Vincent and
Hugo Hoersten; three sisters, Matilda "Tillie" Herman, Betty Wegesin

Hilvers; a half sister, Marie Ellerbrock; and two grandchildren.

Beatrice A. Stepleton, died at 9 p.m. March
29,2000, at Van Crest Nursing Home, Delphos.
She was born July 17, 1915, in Ottoville to Andrew and Ora Belle LaLonde Miller. On July 31, 1933, she married
Richard J. Stepleton, who died
Jan. 11, Stepleton 1978.
Mrs. Stepleton retired from DWG Cigar Co., Delphos, after 38 years. She
was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of
Columbia Council 30, serving as past president. She was a member of the
Ottoville Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Robert G. Stepleton of Los Angeles and Richard K. (Sharon) Stepleton of Delphos;
three daughters, Carol (Kenneth) Wittler of Ottoville, Patricia Fackler of
Bryan and Debra (Craig) Henkener of Wapakoneta; 17 grandchildren and 32
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
two brothers, Edward and Louis
Miller; six sisters, Millie Adams,
Edith Neal, Vinnie Nees, Velma Pitsenbarger, Verda Burkholder and Annabelle
Rose; and a grandchild.

Leonard Henry Schnipke, 78, died at 7:35 p.m. April 14 2000, at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Cloverdale to George and Emma Ricker Schnipke. On June 18,
1947, he married Pauline Agnes Wehri, who survives.
Mr. Schnipke was founder and president of Schnipke Engraving Co.
Ottoville. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Holy Name at the
church.
Survivors also include three sons, Donald (Karen) Schnipke and Donald
(Jane) Schnipke, both of Cloverdale, and Leonard (Lynda) Schnipke Jr. of
Ottoville; four daughters, Eileen "Ellie" (Bill) Halter of Anna,
Alvera Schnipke (Dan) Miller of St. Henry, and Lenora (Paul)
Ball and Dolores Schnipke, both of Cloverdale; a brother, Kenneth Schnipke of
Delphos; a sister, Patricia Martin of Ottoville; 15 grandchildren, six
step grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren and 13 step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Schnipke; and a grandson,
Rodney Menke.

Gertrude Elizabeth Miller, 92, Ottoville, died at noon on
Wednesday, April 19, 2000, at her residence.
She was born June 3, 1907, in
Putnam County, to Gerhart "George" and Elizabeth (Schimmoeller)
Fischer. On June 26, 1928, she married George Miller, and he died December 24,
1970.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth
A. (Dorothy) Miller and Walter A. (Jill) Miller, both of Ottoville; four
daughters, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Knott, Columbus Grove, June M.
(Donald) Korte, Delphos, Ruth Ann Schuller,
Ft. Myers, FL, and Vivian (Bob)
Schimmoeller, Oak Harbor; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and four
step-great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a
grandson, David Miller; two brothers, Frank and Arnold Fischer; and a sister,
Loretta Fischer.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She
was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, its Altar
Rosary Society, and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

John C. Wannemacher, died at 8:40 p.m. May 2, 2000, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 7,1946, in
Ottoville to Marvin and Angela Horstman Wannemacher. On Sept. 2, 1967, he
married Irene Trentman, who survives.
Mr. Wannemacher worked at General
Motors Powertrain, Defiance. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church,
Delphos. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos. He
attended Ottoville High School.
Survivors also include two sons,
Todd (Rachel) Wannemacher of Middle Point and Kirk Wannemacher of Delphos; two
daughters, Carla (Shane) Barna of Rockford and Kerri (Brennan) Rohr of Delphos;
a brother, Dan Wannemacher of Kalida; a
sister, Joyce Miehls of Fort Jennings; a stepbrother, Don Bendele of
Kalida; two stepsisters, Janie Miller of Centerville and Sharon Schroeder of
Columbus Grove; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
stepfather, John Bendele.

Agnes M. Wittler Fusselman, 76,
died at 3:26 p.m., May 17, 2000, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born April 24,1924, in Fort Jennings to Joseph and Mary Schulte
Wittler. On Sept. 7,1946, she married Joseph W. Fusselman, who died Aug. 23, 1987. Her close friend and companion, Paul
Burgei, survives in Ottoville.
Mrs. Fusselman retired as office manager from S.S. Kresge's Warehouse
and had worked as a secretary, both at Baer Field, Fort Wayne, Ind. She was a
member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society, and had been a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Bluffton, Ind.
Survivors also include four
sisters, Alvera (Norb) Stippich
of Lima, Alma (Ed) Schnipke of Ottawa and Alice (Justin) Wannemacher and Sylvia (Bill) Horstman, both
of Ottoville.
She was preceded in death by a brother Albert Wittler; and two sisters,
Irene Wittler and Eleanor Wittler-Gordon.

Eickholt
Fredonna A. Eickholt, 77, died at 5:17 p.m. May 21,2000, at
Paradise Oaks Nursing Home, Cloverdale.
She was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Cloverdale to Joseph T. and Lucy Knippen Horstman. On Aug.
16, 1941, she married Lawrence "Cornie" Eickholt, who died Aug. 5,
l976.
Mrs. Eickholt retired from the Village Market's meat department in
Ottoville. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and a former
choir member. She also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3740
Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, John (Vivian) Eickholt of Pueblo, Colo.,

Trenkamp
Marguerite L. “Marge” Trenkamp, 79, died at 9:20 a.m. June 8, 2000, at her
sister's residence.
She was born June 15,1920, in Fort Jennings to Fredrick and Mary
Brenner Boehmer. On May 29,1946, she married John Trenkamp, who died Nov. 13,
1960.
Mrs. Trenkamp had worked at Miller's Grocery Store and was co-owner of
the Kalida IGA. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society.
She is survived by her sister, Mae Potts of Cloverdale.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Joseph Trenkamp; a
daughter, Jeanine Trenkamp; a brother, Leonard Boehmer; and two sisters, Helen
Stegaman and Hilda Cross.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. The Rev. Sylvan Obergefell will

Stallkamp
Thomas L. Stallkamp 82, died at 655 a.m. June 19, 2000, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van
Wert.
He was born June 6, 1918, in Delphos to Paul C. and Laura E Wurst Stallkamp. On April 11, 1942, he
married R. Jane Horstman, who survives in Ottoville.
Mr. Stallkamp retired as co-owner and former president of Stallkamp
Electric Inc. and was a co-owner of the Arrow Motel, both in Delphos. He was a
member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos, and St. Paul's
Catholic Church, Leesburg, Fla. He been a volunteer fireman for 30 years in
Ottoville and Delphos. He was a former member of the Delphos Lions Club. He was
a 1936 graduate of St. John's High School and a graduate of Allied Electronics
School, Chicago.
Survivors also include a son, Rick F. Stallkamp of
Allenwood, Pa.; a daughter, Bonnie L.
(James R.) Neumeier of Ada; two brothers, Joseph "Joe" Stallkamp and
William "Bill" Stallkamp, both of Delphos; two grandchildren, a
great-grandchild and a step great-grandchild.

Weaver. On June 10,1950, she married Elmer Bendele, who died Oct. 14 1969.
Mrs. Bendele had worked in
the kitchen of the Black Angus
Restaurant, Kalida. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church,
Brooksville, Fla.

Linda Wehri of Findlay and Barbara Karram of Brooksville, Fla.; a brother,

Leola A. Lehman, 85, died at 4:20 a.m. July
6,2000, at Otterbein-Leipsic Retirement Center, Leipsic.
She was born April 14, 1915, in Miller City to Theodore and Catherine
Siebeneck Luttfring. On Feb. 9,1932, she married Robert O. Lehman, who survives.
Mrs. Lehman was a homemaker and had
worked in the cafeteria at Ottoville School. She was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, where she had been president of the
Rosary Altar Society, had taught CCD classes and had been a Eucharist minister.
Survivors also include a son, Richard James (Patricia)
Lehrnan of Grover Hill; three daughters, Donna Jean (Donald) Warnirnont of Cloverdale,
Sister Joyce Lehman of Sylvania and
Patricia J. (James) Bloomfield of Bluffton, Ind.; two sisters, Rosena Nadler of
Leipsic and Clara Utendorf of
Bradenton, Fla.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother,

KRUEGER, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla. died July 5, 2000, at St. Joseph

She was born June 29, 1910, in
Ottoville, Ohio.
She and her husband were former
owners and operators of Anrod Screen Cylinder Corporation in Cass City. She
came to Sun City Center from Cass City in 1970.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann
(Jack) McDaniel of Bay City; a son, Rodney (Colleen) Krueger of Port Charlotte,
Fla.; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Donald W. Warnimont, 70, of Cloverdale, died at 9:41 p.m., on
Sunday, September 10, 2000, at his residence.
He was born in Leipsic, on June 11,
1930, to Raymond E. and Eleanor C. (Selhorst) Warnimont, and she survives in
Ottawa. On August 26, 1953, he
married Donna Jean Lehman, and she survives.
Survivors also include one son,
Erik J. (Tammy Jordan) Warnimont, Ft. Jennings;
one daughter, Amy J. (Douglas) Cross,
Delphos; five grand-children; two step grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Joyce)
Warnimont, Leipsic; one sister,
Marilyn (Maurice) Mentzer,
Forest, OH; and a sister in law,
Donna J. Warnimont, Findlay.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roland J. Warnimont.
Mr. Warnimont was retired from
Dinner Bell Meats in Defiance after 31 years. He worked at the Delphos Country
Club in ground maintenance. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Ottoville, and its Holy Name Society; the Knights of Columbus Council
1757. Ottawa, where he was a 50 year member; a member of the Teamsters and he
served in the Air Force from 1951-1955 during the Korean Conflict.
Mass of Christian Burial was held
at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday (today), at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville. Rev. Tony Borgia officiated.
Burial was in St.
Mary Cemetery, Ottoville with military rites conducted by VFW Post 3740.

She was born Jan. 7, 1916, in
Putnam County to Edward and Matilda Anna Pahl Kramen She married Louis Boerger,
who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Boerger had been a supervisor
at J.C. Penney Co. Inc., Lima. She was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Ottoville. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
3740 Auxiliary, Ottoville.
Survivors include three sons,
Ronald (RaeAnn) Boerger of Columbus Grove, Robert Boerger of Columbus and
Richard (Libby) Boerger of Delphos; a daughter, Yvonne (George) Heitmeyer-Thompson
of Defiance; four sisters, Norma Gillen of Mount Healthy, Carol Koons of
Hayward, Calif., Permille Goldberg of Forest Hills, N.Y., and Joan Fehrman of
Sebring, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a

Jerrold E. “Whitey” Wannemacher
Jerrold E. “Whitey” Wannemacher, 62, of Monument, Colo., formerly of Delphos, died at 2:20 a.m. Oct. 4,
2000, at his residence.
He was born in Putnam County to Hubert and Armella Knippen Wannemacher.
His mother survives in Delphos. On June 13,1987, he married Phyllis Plummer,
who survives.
Mr. Wannemacher was a pilot for the Colorado Division of Wildlife and
Owner operator of Arrow Aviation. He had been a teacher and band director at
Marion Local Schools ,where the Wannemacher
band placed first in the state
finals, and had played saxophone for the Benny Goodman Band. He founded Fantasy
Flight based in Colorado. He was a 1956 graduate of St. John's High School,
Delphos, where he was the first co-captain on the school's first football team.
Survivors also include two sons, Kenneth (Jacquelin) Wannemacher of
Canton and Michael Domin of Cleveland; three daughters, Kimberly (Dennis) Neal
of Columbus, Karen (John) Ardner of Delphos and Kathleen (Dave) Greaves of
Canton; a sister, Darla Rahrig of Delphos; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11
a.m. Saturday at
Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. Dan Borgelt will

Horstman. On Oct. 28, 1967, she married Michael J. Pohlman, who survives.
Pohlman Mrs. Pohlman was a homemaker. She was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. She was a 1965 graduate of Ottoville
High School. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors also include a son, Matt M. (Krista M.) Pohlman of Columbus;
two daughters, Jill M. (William D.) Stoner of Coldwater and Lynn M. (Gary W) Ellerbrock of Kalida; three

Wannemacher
Armella E. Wannemacher, 79, died at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 13, 2000, at Van
Crest of Delphos.
She was born April 10, 1921, in Cloverdale to John and Anna Osting Knippen. On Aug. 4, 1937, she married Hubert J. Wannemacher, who died Aug. 18, 1993.
Mrs. Wannemacher was a clerk at WT Grant in Delphos for 15 years and
worked at Philips in Van Wert until her retirement. She was a member of St.
John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos, the Delphos Senior Citizens, the
National Society of Decorative Painters, Ohio Heirlooms of Tomorrow in
Wapakoneta, and Potpourri of Painters in Lima. She was active in arts and
crafts, and won numerous blue ribbons at the Florida State Fair for her
artwork.
Survivors include a daughter, Darla
(Cliff) Rahrig of Delphos, and a sister, Martha Byrne of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by a son,
Hubert "Whitey" Wannemacher; four brothers, Ray, Art, Albert and Jack
Knippen; three sisters, Louise "Lucy" Horstman, Adeline Kleman and
Amelia "Millie" Bendele; and three childhood siblings.

Kennedy. On July 1, 1950, she married Joe H.
Perrin, who survives.
Mrs. Perrin was a homemaker, a life
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9142 Auxiliary in Ottoville,
American Legion Auxiliary in Fort Jennings where she was a past District 2,president.
She was a member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Catholic Daughters of
Columbia, both in Delphos.
Survivors also include a daughter,
Becky Perrin of Delphos; two sons, Bill (Sue) Perrin of Lima and Mike Perrin of
Harrod; two sisters, Mary Tornow and Rita
Arnold five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary
Sanders; a stepsister, Laura L. Logsdon; and four stepbrothers:
Kenny, Clete, George and John Logsdon.
Services will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church, Delphos. The Rev. Thomas Gorman will
officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.

Cyril Sawmiller, 86, of
Dundee, Mich., formerly of Ottoville, died at 4:08 a.m. Oct. 23, 2000, at his
residence.
He was born April 7, 1914, in Ottoville, to Or1o and Clara Pittner Sawmiller. In 1951, he
married Wilmena Kent, who survives.
Mr. Sawmiller was retired as an assembler from The Ford Motor Co. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post 1275, Lima; and Military Order
of the Cootie.
Survivors also include a son, Michael J. (Cheryle) Sawmiller of Dundee,
Mich.; a brother, Charles Sawmiller of Ottawa; four sisters, Theresa Heiing of
Ottawa, Ruth Menke and Clara Honigford, both of Fort Jennings, and Dorothy
Metcalfe of Coldwater, Mich.; three grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Sawmiller; and four
sisters, Mary Sawmiller, Gertrude Michael, Rosemary Seimet, and Alice Beckman.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's.
Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1275.

Irene J. "Toots" Spencer, 82, died at 5:35 p.m. Nov. 16, 2000, at her
residence.
She was born April 8, 1918, in Monterey Township,
Putnam County, to William A. and Josephine Sanders Bigelow. She married Howard
C. Spencer, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Spencer had worked at Niedeken Photography Studio and Gordon's Egg
Produce, both in Ottoville, and had been a dealer of Stanley Home products for
40 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville. She was a 1937 graduate of Ottoville High School.
Survivors include two sons, G. Dean (Gloria) Spencer of Ottawa and
Jimmy C. (Nancy) Spencer of Fort Jennings; a daughter, Jacqueline (Robert)
Urton of Ottoville; two sisters, Alvera Wieging of Fort Jennings and Frances
Keifer of Swanton; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly J. Shade; five brothers, Joe J. Sanders and William, Hilary, Ralph Sr. and Walter Bigelow; three
sisters, Esther Metzger, Dorothy Horstman and Margaret Bigelow; and two
grandchildren.

1960, she married John Anthony Ricker in Delphos.

She was preceded in death by two
sisters. Lucille Ellerbrock and Delores Meyer. Mrs. Ricker was the advertising
manager for the Delphos Herald where she was employed for 42 years. She was a member of the
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Fraternal Order of Eagles
Aerie #471, Delphos, the Ohio Executive Advertising Guild, and a former member
of Jaycee-Otts.

Bertha
Louise Klima, 83, Ottoville, died on Sunday, December 3, 2000, at her
residence.
She was born on April 23, 1917, in
Miller City, to Isadore L. and Veronica (Wischmeyer) Seimet. On September 30,
1939, she married Joseph J. Klima, and he died on September 3, 1998.
Survivors include three sons,
Joseph (Susan) Klima and Thomas (Sue) Klima, both of Ottoville, and Ronald
(Joyce) Klima, Lakeland, FL; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three
brothers, Bernard Seimet, Elmer Seimet, and Bud Seimet.
Mrs. Klima was employed by the
Ottoville Local School in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church,
Ottoville, the Eagles Auxiliary, Delphos, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Ottoville,
and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Fort Jennings.
