Mrs. Mary Schweller
            Mrs. Mary Schweller, 35, died at 4:35 a.m. Friday at Lima St. Rita’s Hospital. She suffered from pneumonia after giving birth to a daughter Thursday.
            Mrs. Schweller was born at Delphos July 22, 1924, a daughter of John and Mary Klima.
            She was married June 14, 1947 to Charles J. Schweller, who survives along with three sons, Ronal, Dennis and Paul and daughters Phyllis and Mary Helen, all at home; four brothers, George Klima of Delphos, Sylvester Klima of Howell Michigan; five sisters, Miss Martha Klima of Cincinnati, Mrs. Walter (Edna) Gray of Lakewood, Mrs. Oscar (Gertrude) Hempfling of Landeck, Mrs. Victor (Margaret) Kill of Wapakoneta, Mrs. Cletus (Armella) Brinkman of Ft. Jennings.
            Mrs. Schweller was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Ottoville.
            Requiem high mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with Msgr. J. F. Frommherz as celebrant.
            Burial will be made in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.

Eickholt Rites At Ottoville
Area Farmer Found Dead In Woods
            Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9:30 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville for Andy Eickholt, 76, of southwest of Ottoville. A well known farmer of that community, Mr. Eickholt’s body was found a half mile southeast of his home Monday morning.
            Mr. Eickholt had been ill for three years and was under treatment for senility. He stepped out of his home at 10 p.m. Sunday and when he did not return in due time, Mrs. Eickholt called the Van Wert County sheriff’s department when she failed to locate him. An all-night search ended when his body was located in the woods. His death attributed to exposure.
            Mr. Eickholt was born on April 11, 1883, the son of Mathias and Bernadine Eickholt. He resided all of his life on the farm where he was born. On February 15, 1911, he was married to Gertrude Miller at Ottoville.
            Surviving with his wife are two sons, Kenneth at home and Ralph of Cleveland; a daughter, Margaret at home; one grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Caroline Hessian, of route 3, Delphos.
            The Tr. Rev. Msgr. F. J. Frommherz officiated at the services and burial was made in the Ottoville parish cemetery.

Ralph Turnwald, Ottoville, Dies
Death Followed Lengthy Illness
Ralph G. Turnwald, 51, resident of Ottoville, died at 3:50 Thursday afternoon of last week in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima. His death followed a lengthy illness, and he had been a hospital patient for five days.
Mr. Turnwald was born at Ottoville on October 20, 1908, and had resided all his life in that community. He was married to Margaret Raymond on August 16, 1933.
            Surviving are his wife; three sons, Jerome of Ottoville, and Orville and Gary at home; a daughter, Mrs. John Nussbaum, of Ottoville; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edmund Schimmoeller and Mrs. Arnold Fischer, both of Ottoville, and two brothers, Lawrence and Leonard both of Ottoville.
            Mr. Turnwald was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
            Funeral rites were held in the Ottoville church Monday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. J. Frommherz, the pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Elvin F. Vincke
Elvin F. Vincke, 50-year-old Lima engineer, died Saturday after suffering a heart attack while ice fishing at Indian Lake.
Mr. Vincke, of 955 N. Elizabeth, state highway department employee since 1946, died in St. Rita's Hospital at about 11:30 a.m., shortly after he was returned from the lake by a fishing companion, Eugene V. Seifert of 600 Tremont Ave.
The two men had left Lima at            about 9:30 a.m. Mr. Vincke became ill upon arrival at Long Island, Indian Lake, and was rushed to the Lima hospital by Seifert, but died a few minutes after he was admitted.
Mr. Vincke was in apparent good health and had been at his highway department job Friday.
He was born Aug. 27, 1909 at Ottoville, and had lived in Lima since 1920. He attended St. Gerard's School and earned a civil engineering degree at Ohio Northern University in 1932.
Mr. Vincke never married. He is survived by his father, Joseph Vincke, with whom he made his home; a sister, Rose Marie, at home, and two brothers, Lester of 694 N. West and Cletus J. of Hampton, Va.
Requiem high mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St Gerard's Catholic Church, with Rev. Vincent Kelly is celebrant.
Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Mr. Vincke was a member of the Knights of Columbus. St. Gerard's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the church, Lima Chapter 7160 of Professional Engineers, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He served overseas in World War II as a captain in the 392nd Engineer Corps.
The Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society of St. Gerard's will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Monday.

Christopher C. Kortokrax
Christopher C. Kortokrax, 75, of 1818 Warwick Ave., Hammond, Indiana, died early today at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Emmanual United Church of Christ, 700 Sibley St., Hammond, with the Rev. Paul G. Schaeffer officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Whiting Lodge 613 F. and A. M. will conduct services at 9:30 p. m. Whiting.
Surviving are his widow, Mathilda; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude McEntee, Lemon Grove, Calif., Mrs. Adelaide Green, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Betty Frank, Highland; four sons, Kenneth, Delphos, Ohio; Charles, Cedar Lake; Robert, Hammond, and Everett, Whiting; two brothers. Gust, Traverse City, Mich., and Leo, Ottoville, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Holmes, Ostego, Mich., Mrs. Estelle Bomp and Miss Bemadine Kortokrax, Chicago; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale area 40 years, he was a past state counselor of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics and a member of Whiting Lodge 613 F. and A.M. He was an annuitant of Standard Oil Co.

Michael Kehres
Michael Kehres, 86, of 735 E. Second, Delphos, died Monday at 4 p.m. after a four-week illness.
He was born Oct. 3, 1873, in Ottoville. He was married May 7, 1901, to Anna Bendele in Ottoville. She is still living. Other survivors are two sons, Ewald Kehres of Delphos and Victor Kehres of Ottoville; and a daughter, Mrs. Hilary (Coletta) Bigelow of Ottoville; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alice O'Brien of Findlay; Mrs. Elizabeth Hanburger of Celina; and Miss Regina Kehres of North Baltimore, Ohio. There are nine sisters deceased.
He belonged to the St. John's Catholic Church in Delphos. He was a retired farmer.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. in the St. John's Catholic Church at Delphos with Msgr. Carl F. Reineck, the pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Delphos.

Josephine Bonifas

Mrs. Josephine Bonifas, 85, died at St. Rita's Hospital at 10:20 am. Saturday, after a five-day serious illness.
She had been making her home with a son, Louis N. Bonifas at 318 N. Jameson, Lima.
She was born at Ottoville April 15, 1874, and married there on June 14, 1892, to Charles P. Bonifas, who died March 8, 1940.
Survivors include five sons and a daughter, Louis N. of Lima; Peter C. of Monroe, Mich.; Pat N. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Leroy H. of Huntington, Ind.; Arthur J. of Delphos; the daughter is Mrs. Theresia Stemen of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Studer of Delphos; and Mrs. Philomina Fischer of Lima.
She was a member of the Delphos Women's Benefit Association and St. John's Catholic Church at Delphos.
There will be a requiem high mass at St. John's at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Msgr. Carl F. Reineck as celebrant.
Burial will be in St John's Cemetery at Delphos.
The body is at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home at Delphos, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.

Sarah Kramer
            Sarah E. Kramer, 95, formerly of Delphos, who resided in the Castle Convalescent Home in Van Wert, died Wednesday at 10:35 a.m. at the home.
            She was born May 18, 1864, at Massilon to Remegius and Barbara (Clementz) Kramer. She was marred to John Mathias Kramer, who died Feb. 11, 1956.
            Surviving are two step-sons, Arthur Kramer of North Baltimore and Ambrose Kramer of Seattle Wash.; four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
            She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church at Delphos where a high requiem mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Carl F. Reineck, pastor, the celebrant. Burial will be made in St. Mary’s cemetery at Ottoville.
            Friends may call at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home at Delphos until time for service.

Bigelow Rites At Ottoville
Aged Resident Had Been Ill A Year
            Mrs. Josephine M. Bigelow, 84, resident of Ottoville and widow of William A. Bigelow, died at 5:30 Saturday morning in Van Wert Hospital after an illness of a year.
            She was born at Ottoville on September 2, 1875. In 1900 she was married to Mr. Bigelow who died on May 12, 1953.
            Mrs. Bigelow is survived by five sons, Joseph of New Braunsfels, Texas; William A. of Toledo; Hillary J. and Walter J. of Ottoville, and Ralph F. Bigelow, of Hood River Oregon; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Horstman, Ft. Jennings; Mrs. Arley Kiefer, Swanton; and Mrs. Howard Spencer, of Ottoville; 39 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and a brother John Sanders, of Ottoville. Two daughters preceded her in death.
            Mrs. Bigelow was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Alter Rosary Society of the parish, and the Ottoville Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
            Funeral services were held in the Ottoville church, Tuesday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Ottoville Man Killed Instantly In Car-Truck Accident West Of Lima
Arthur H. Dickman Rites Held Monday
            Arthur H. Dickman, 32, Ottoville, was killed in a car-truck collision on route 30-S just west of Lima about 6:30 a.m. last Friday.
            Dickman’s car was pinned between the heavy tractor-trailer outfit and a utility pole and it took workmen more than an hour to free is body from the wreckage.
            Carson Williams, 35, Springfield, driver of the truck, who was not hurt, told investigating officials that he saw the westbound Dickman car coming towards him when suddenly the car swerved to the right and then left right into the path of the truck. Williams swerved his truck to the right in an attempt to avoid the collision, but was unable to do so, he said.
            Both the car and the truck went into a ditch and the car was pinned between the truck and the pole, with the front wheel of the truck resting in the back seat of the car.
            Allen County Coroner Dr. R. H. Biery returned a verdict of accidental death due to a crushed chest and fractured skull.
            Mr. Dickman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Dickman, Ottoville, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville. A lifelong resident of Ottoville, he served as a staff sergeant in the Air Force during World War II. He was born at Ottoville on January 6, 1928, and never married.
            Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Patricia Ann and Viola; brothers, Paul, of Lima; Elmer, of Delphos; Virgil and Robert, both of Middlepoint.
            Last rites were at 11 a.m., on Monday in the Ottoville church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated and burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by the Ottoville V.F.W. Post.

Lenore W. Brinkman
Mrs. Lenore W. Brinkman, 60, 404 W. Fourth, Delphos, died Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. in St Rita's Hospital, shortly after she was admitted. She suffered a heart attack at her home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1899 in Ottoville, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina Hasenkamp Rellinger. She was married May 1, 1929 at Ottoville to Joseph J. Brinkman, who survives with two sons and three daughters, Jerry of Dayton; Robert of the U. S. Air Force, Grand Forks, N. D.; Mrs. Donald (Joann) Klausing of Delphos; Mrs. Leonard (Ruth) Klima of Ottoville and Mrs. Gene (Margie) Price, Van Wert and 14 grandchildren.
She was a member of the St John's Catholic Church in Delphos and the Altar Rosary Society.
Requiem high mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. John's Church in Delphos. Msgr. Carl Reineck will officiate and burial will be in the St John's Cemetery.
The body will remain at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Horns where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.

Mrs. John King, Ottoville, Dies
Funeral Was Held Saturday Morning
            Mrs. Mildred E. King, 47, resident of Ottoville, died at 8:45 Wednesday evening of last week in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Toledo. Her death followed a serious illness of a week.
            A native and lifelong resident of Ottoville, Mrs. King was born on February 12, 1913, the daughter of William and Nora Otte. She was married at Ottoville on September 21, 1937, to John King.
            Surviving with the husband are three children, Michael, Jerry and Virginia, all at home; her father William Otte, of Ottoville; and three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Eickholt, of Delphos; Mrs. Nick Fisher of Cincinnati; and Mrs. Eugene Odenweller, of Ottoville.
            Mrs. King was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville, where funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. J Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Death Followed Long Illness
Mrs. Theresa Bedink Interred Monday
            Mrs. Theresa M. Bedink, 87, resident of Ottoville, died in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, at 1:30 last Friday afternoon, following an extended illness. She had been an invalid for the past 47 years.
            Mrs. Bedink was born at Glandorf on February 2, 1873, a daughter of Bernard and Bernadine Ricker. In 1899 she was married to Nicholas Bedink who passed away in 1952.
            She is survived by three children, Carl, of Detroit; and Mrs. Lawrence Brinkman and Joseph Bedink, of Ottoville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Ricker and William Ricker, both of Ft. Jennings. Two children, Cornelius and Mrs. Louis Weber, preceded her in death.
            Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:30 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Herman Fortman, assistant pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Ottoville Farmer Killed Instantly In Traffic Crash
Funeral Will Be Held Saturday In Ottoville Church
            Louis W. Ricker, 73, of northwest of Ottoville, was killed instantly about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday when the farm tractor and wagon he was driving was struck in the rear by an empty automobile haul-away outfit.
            The accident occurred on route 224 one-half mile west of Ottoville.
            Gary P. Reynolds, 26, of Continental, was the driver of the truck. He told highway patrolmen from Van Wert and Deputy Sheriff Gerald Conine that a shaving kit slid off the seat onto the floor of his truck. He was attempting to pick up the kit and it became entangled in something, he said.
            Before he realized it, he was almost on top of the wagon. He hit his brakes and the wagon at almost the same time, according to the officers.
            The wagon loaded with soybeans was pushed onto the tractor. It crushed Mr. Ricker’s chest, neck and skull. Both vehicles were eastbound and extensive damage was done to both.
            Dr. A. P. Daniel, Putnam County Coroner, also made an investigation at the scene. He has not yet ruled on the death, pending further investigation.
            The death was the seventh traffic fatality in Putnam County in 1960. With three months still remaining, this year already has registered more traffic deaths than any since 1955.
            Funeral services for Mr. Ricker will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville. Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery at Ottoville. His body is at the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home in Delphos.
            Mr. Ricker was a lifelong resident of near Ottoville. He was born November 4, 1886, to Herman and Elizabeth Ricker. On August 30, 1911 he married Emma Brinkman and she survives.
            Also surviving are sons, John of rural Cloverdale; Rudolf of rural Ft. Jennings; and daughters, Mrs. Cletus Horstman of Ottoville; and Mrs. Leo Horstman, of rural Ft. Jennings; a brother, William also of near Ft. Jennings; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
            Mr. Ricker was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Frank Huber Rites Held At Ottoville
Death Occurred Sunday Morning
            Frank B. Huber, 82, Ottoville, died at 8:30 Sunday morning in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima after a long illness. He was removed from a Leipsic rest home to the hospital last weekend.
            A native of Ottoville, he was a son of Matt and Anna Huber. For several years past he had resided with a nephew, Andrew G. Huber at Ottoville. Several other nieces and nephews survive.
            Mr. Huber was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9:30. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

George J. Schulien
George J. Schulien, 84, of Lafayette, Ind., died Wednesday morning in the Indiana Knights of Pythias Home Hospital after an illness of two years.
He was born Oct. 28, 1885 in Ottoville, a son of Nicholas and Maria Schulien. He married Agnes Doepker in 1923 and she died in 1930.
Surviving is a nephew, Harold Scherjer of Huntington, Ind.
He was a member of Ottawa Eagles Lodge.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Rev. Florian Hartke officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Fischer-McCrate Funeral Home, Ottawa, after 4 p.m. Friday.
Eagles Lodge services will beheld at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Tires Held For Mrs. Trenkamp
Lifelong Resident Of Ottoville Area
            Mrs. Anna Trenkamp, 77, Ottoville resident, died in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, Thursday night at 10:15. She had been in ill health for a year.
            Mrs. Trenkamp was born at Ottoville on April 27, 1883, and was the widow of August Trenkamp, who died in 1946.
            She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Francis Landwehr, Cloverdale; Sister Mary Aniceta, C. PP. S., of Phoenix Arizona; Miss Edna Trenkamp and Mrs. Irene Dugan, Lima; and Mrs. Marcella Fischer, Detroit, Mich.; seven sons, Ambrose, of Toledo; Walter, of New Bavaria; Henry, John and August of Ottoville; Arnold of Kalida and James of Lima; 38 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Schmersal, west of Glandorf; a half-sister, Mrs. Lena O’Donnell, Tiffin, and a half-brother, William Ruen, of Tiffin.
            Mrs. Trenkamp was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Alter-Rosary Society, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the VFW Auxiliary.
            Funeral services were held in the Ottoville church Monday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz, the pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Anna Hoersten Interred Monday
Ottoville Native Died At Delphos
            Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o’clock in the St. John’s Catholic Church, Delphos, for Mrs. Anna M. Hoersten, 75, a former resident of Ottoville, who died Friday afternoon at 2:20 in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima.
            Mrs. Hoersten was born at Ottoville on January 2, 1885, the daughter of Henry and Mary Beining Sr. She was married to Ben Hilvers who died in 1906. In 1908 she was married to Joseph G. Hoersten. He preceded her in death in 1941.
            Mrs. Hoersten is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Albert Herman, Mrs. Ralph Wegesin and Mrs. Herbert Gerdeman, all of the Delphos community; Mrs. Elmer Schneider and Mrs. Hubert Hemker, of Ottoville; and Mrs. Herman Luersman, of Ft. Jennings; six sons, Felix, Hugo, Clarence and Anthony Hoersten, all of Ottoville; Lawrence, of Ottawa, and Vincent, of Delphos; two stepsons, Joseph Hoersten, Ottoville and Edward Hoersten of Ft. Jennings; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Joseph Ellerbrock, of Ft. Jennings; 67 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Deitering and Mrs. Rose Koester, of Ottoville; and Mrs. Elizabeth Moegenbord, Shepherd, Mich.; and two brothers, Theodore and Oliver Beining , both of Ottoville.
            The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Carl F. Reineck officiated at the funeral services. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Ottoville.

Farmer Victim Of Heart Attack
John Trenkamp Died Sunday
            John A. Trenkamp, 40, farmer of near Ottoville, who resided on route 2, Ft. Jennings, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at 2:25 as the result of a heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima.
            Mr. Trenkamp was walking from a field with his wife and son after extinguishing a grass fire on his farm, when he collapsed. His death occurred only 16 days after the passing of his mother, Mrs. Anna Trenkamp, who died on October 27th.
            He was born at Ottoville on June 24, 1920, the son of August and Anna Trenkamp and he resided in the Ottoville community all his life. He was married to Margaret Boehmer on May 8, 1946.
            Mr. Trenkamp is survived by his wife; a son Thomas, at home; five sisters, Mrs. Francis Landwehr, Cloverdale; Sister Mary Aniceta, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Irene Dugan and Miss Edna Trenkamp, Lima; and Mrs. Marcella Fisher, Detroit, Michigan; and six brothers, James, of Lima; Ambrose, of Toledo; Walter, of New Bavaria; Henry and August, of Ottoville; and Arnold of Kalida.
            A veteran of World War II, Mr. Trenkamp was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville.
            Funeral services were held in the Ottoville parish church Wednesday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. F. J. Frommherz, the pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

August A. Kortokrax
Taken by Death
August A. Kortokrax, 70, of 1112 Clinch street, died Sunday morning at Traverse City Osteopathic hospital after a one-week illness.
Mr. Kortokrax was born March 28, 1890 at Ottoville, O., moved to the Hannah area in 1918, and operated a farm there until 1939. He also worked at F&M Packing Co. and at various other jobs until retiring in 1955.
A Mexican campaign veteran, he was a member of the Traverse City VFW and Cooties, and of St. Francis church.
He is survived by his widow, Julia; three sons, Eugene H. of Otsego, and John A. and Robert A. of Traverse City; three daughters. Mrs. John Miller of Wauregan, Conn., Mrs. Roy Murphy of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Patrick C. Robinson of Traverse City R. 3; and 21 grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother, Leo of Ottoville, O., three sisters, Mrs. Mary Holmes of Otsego, and Miss Bernadine Kortokrax and Mrs. Ralph Bomp of Chicago; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
The funeral mass will be sung at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis church, Rev. Fr. Joseph B. Kohler celebrant. The place of burial will be announced on Tuesday.
The rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City, where the body reposes.

Death Takes Retired Farmer
Frank Schumaker Services At Ottoville
            Frank Schumaker, 77, a retired farmer who resided with his nephew, Joseph Landin, east of Ottoville, died at 1:30 Thursday afternoon of last week in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, following an illness of several weeks.
            Mr. Schumaker was born at Ottoville on September 4, 1883, the son of John and Margaret Schumaker. He was never married. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lena Cramer of Marion, and nephews and nieces.
            The deceased was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
            Funeral services were held in the Ottoville parish church Monday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. F. Frommherz officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Ignatius Meyer
            Ignatius Meyer, 74, of 916 S. Elizabeth, died at 3:45 a.m. today at St. Rita’s Hospital after a two month illness.
            Born August 17, 1886 at Glandorf, he was a son of Joseph and Bernadine (Webken) Meyer.
            Survivors include a sister, Miss Mary Meyer of Delphos, and two brothers, August Meyer of Delphos and Herman of Ecorse, Michigan.
            He was a member of the Sacred Heart League, St. John’s Catholic Church, and was a retired employee of Baldwin Lima Hamilton.
            Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Delphos. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.
            Friends may call at Kolkmeyer Funeral Home, Delphos, after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Al Hohlbein, Ottoville, Dies
Death Followed Six-Month Illness
            Albert F. Hohlbein, 57, welder and scrap metal dealer at Ottoville, died at nine o’clock Monday evening in St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, following an illness of six years.
            He was born at Ottoville on November 8, 1903, the son of John and Mary Hohlbein. In May 1927 he was married to Lucinda Becker.
            Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Liebrecht and Mrs. Eugene Wittler, both of Ottoville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Andy and Frank Hohlbein, both of Ottoville, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Pohl and Mrs. Clarence Schimmoeller, both of Delphos.
            Mr. Hohlbein was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Delphos.
            Funeral services will be held in the Ottoville church Friday morning at 9:30. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Edward J. Grubenhoff

Edward J. Grubenhoff, 62, former carpenter and mason, died at 12:30 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Born July 17, 1898 in Ottoville, he was a son of Frank and Mary (Sherrick) Grubenhoff. On Nov. 25, 1926, he married Ruth Diefenderfer and she survives along with one daughter. Mrs. Glen (Lavonne) Schroeder of Columbus; four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Albert Ruen of Ottoville.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Harris Funeral Home, Columbus Grove where friends may call after Thursday noon.

Resident Of Ottoville Dies
Stella Wannemacher Services Monday
            Miss Stella Wannemacher, 67, lifelong resident of Ottoville, died at her home at 10:30 Thursday evening. She had been in failing health for six years.
            Miss Wannemacher was born at Ottoville on March 8, 1893, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Wannemacher. Surviving is a sister Mrs. Otto Friemoth, of Toledo, and a brother, Leander Wannemacher, of Ottoville.
            Miss Wannemacher was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville, and was a charter member of the Ottoville Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
            Funeral services were held in the Ottoville church Monday morning at 9:30. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. J. Frommherz, pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

George J. Vincke, Ottoville, Dies
Retried Cobbler Of That Village
            George J. “Pat” Vincke, 68, died suddenly at his home in Ottoville Tuesday morning at four o’clock. He had been ailing in recent years, however, his death came unexpectedly as the result of a heart attack.
            Mr. Vincke was born at Ottoville on February 17, 1892, the son of Ferdinand and Mary Vincke and had resided at Ottoville all of his life. He was married to Dorothy Van Oss on January 25, 1922.
            Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Schmitt, Ottoville; and Mrs. Thomas Reinmeyer, Jeffersonville, Indiana; two sons, John J. and Hilarius F. Vincke, both of Dayton; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Giesken, of Lima; and Sister Mary Gertrude, P.H. J. C., of Chicago, Ill.; and two brothers, Joseph and Ferd Vincke, both of Lima.
            A retired shoe repairman, Mr. Vincke was a veteran of World War I, having served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the parish, and the Ottoville Veterans of Foreign Wars.
            Funeral services will be held in the Ottoville church Friday morning at 9:30. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will be at the Kolkmeyer funeral home in Delphos until time for services.

Former Resident of Ottoville Interred
Widow Of Joseph Utrup Summoned
            Funeral services was held in St. John’s Catholic Church, Delphos, at 9 o’clock Friday morning for Mrs. Josephine Utrup, 81, who died Tuesday of last week in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marcella Mueller, in Delphos. She had been ill for the past two months.
            Mrs. Utrup was born in Germany, December 27, 1878. She was married in Ottoville on May 1, 1901, to Joseph Utrup. He died on July 3, 1957. In addition to her daughter, she leaves five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
            The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Carl Reineck officiated at the services. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lenore Brinkman Services At Delphos
Heart Attack Fatal To Ottoville Native
            Funeral services were held in St. John’s Saturday forenoon for Mrs. Lenore W. Brinkman, 60, resident of that city, who died at 11:45 Wednesday night shortly after being admitted to St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima. Her death, which came unexpectedly, was the result of a heart attack.
            Mrs. Brinkman was born at Ottoville on December 15, 1899, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina Rellinger. She was married in Ottoville to Joseph J. Brinkman on May 1, 1928.
            Surviving with her husband are five children, Jerry of Dayton; Robert, with the U. S. Air Force at Grand Forks N.D.; Mrs. Donald Klausing, of Delphos; Mrs. Leonard Klima, of Ottoville; and Mrs. Glen Price, of Van Wert; and 14 grandchildren.
            Burial was made in St. John’s cemetery at Delphos.

Ottoville Native Died In Michigan
Was The Former Amelia Eickholt
Mrs. Amelia Kiefer, 83, a resident of Chesaning, Mich., died at the St. Francis Home in that city last week. She had been a resident of the home for three years.
Mrs. Kiefer was the former Amelia Eickholt and was born at Ottoville on July 6, 1876. She was married to John Kiefer at Ottoville in 1904. Prior to her marriage she taught in the country schools in the Ottoville and Delphos communities. The family moved to Chesaning 50 years ago. Mr. Kiefer died in 1953.
Two sons, Vern, of Tucson, Arizona, and Gerald Kiefer, of Chesaning, and six grandchildren survive.
